New York, May 2, 2009 – Celebrities were up early on Saturday for the 12th annual EIF Revlon Run/Walk for Women.  Jessica Alba, Jennifer Connelly, Jessica Biel and Fran Drescher gathered in Times Square shortly after 7:00 A.M. – yes, you read that right, 7 A.M. – to join the crowd of folks walking to help raise funds to fight women’s cancers. 

We wondered how Ciara would walk in her high heels, but regardless, she sang a song to get everyone stoked.  Funny man Jimmy Fallon hosted, and we feared he’d really wake us up when he grabbed a pair of cymbals from the marching band; but Jimmy was just joking around, and left the musical instruments to the musicians. 

The run/walk began in Times Square and ended in Central Park. The entertainers help bring a bit of levity to what is an emotional day for cancer survivors and for those who have lost loved ones to the disease.  The Los Angeles walk takes place on May 9.
