New York, March 30, 2009 – Perennial OAN favorite the Dressed to Kilt fashion show was, as usual, a hilarious, whiskey-fueled romp. Sir Sean Connery made it to the show this year, and acted as host, although he did not don a kilt. Some very pretty ladies walked the runway, including singer Kellie Pickler and actress Andie MacDowell and her daughters Rainey and Sarah Margaret Qualley. But let’s face it, the kilt fashion show is all about the beefcake, and there was plenty of it. Mike Myers took a good natured spin on the catwalk, as did British Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick, and when we saw the Caveman character from the insurance ads, we were sure we’d downed too much Glennfidich. New York Giants player Lawrence Tynes horrified the Scots by carrying – gasp! – an American football on the runway. More kilt-clad eye candy included racecar driver (and Ashley Judd’s husband) Dario Franchitti, Damien Woody of the New York Jets, Tom Gold of the NYC Ballet, and Broadway star Brian d’Arcy James. Sadly, nobody flashed their bare bums this year, but model Marcus Schenkenberg went shirtless, to the delight of the ladies in the front row. |
