New York, February 17, 2009 – Ironically, it was Italian designer Giorgio Armani who made the biggest splash during New York Fashion Week, unveiling his new Fifth Avenue flagship with a star-studded party. 

Mr. Armani’s guests included plenty of high-profile celebrities who have been known to embrace the fashion world, like Victoria Beckham, Alicia Keys, Milla Jovovich and Molly Sims.  But there was a whole contingent we were surprised to see at a fashion do: Martin Scorcese and his pal Leonardo DiCaprio, Liam Neeson, John Mayer, Josh Hartnett, the distinguished architect Richard Meier, wannabe senator Caroline Kennedy and new father Ricky Martin.  How random! How eclectic.
