New York, October 30, 2008 – Amy Sacco and Saks President Ronald Frasch gave late-day shoppers an eyeful at their party celebrating the store’s new in-store Escada shop.  Hilary Swank was among the guests that had shoppers and employees gawking at the flagship’s 50th Street entrance.   Does anything frighten the two-time Oscar winner, who learned to box for Million Dollar Baby, and has now learned to fly for an upcoming Amelia Earhart biopic?  “No, I love it,” she said.  “I’m a real daredevil.  There’s not many things that scare me.  I even jump out of planes.”   Later, after the store was closed, Duffy sang for the crowd.  The Welsh songstress said that Escada was the first designer to put her into a dress.  After the show, we complimented her outfit and she lovingly patted her metallic Escada jacket.  “Do you like it?” she asked.
