New York, November 6, 2008 – Juicy Couture threw a luscious party to launch its new boutique on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. The brand that made tracksuits chic is trying to appeal to all demographics, from 12-year-old Abigail Breslin to 60-year-old Candy Spelling, who was inexplicably dressed head to toe in Prada. (Candy can afford Prada – her diamond ring was skating-rink size.) Attendees of all ages and income levels included Jason Lewis, Sarah Silverman, Lisa Loeb, Sandra Bernhard, Emma Roberts, Jennfier Jason Leigh, Gretchen Mol and SNL’s Kenan Thompson. We’re talking diversity, people. Everyone had fun inside the two-story style emporium, the ceiling of which was strung with multi-colored balloons. Late in the evening, camera-shy lovebirds Blake Lively and Penn Badgley were relaxed enough to just smile when our photographer caught them chatting with partygoers; for once, they didn’t run for cover.
