September 27 - October 4, 2008 – The 2008 Hennessy artistry tour is sweeping the country, and we checked in at several cities this week.  Eve was the headliner in Detroit, where she performed at the Fillmore dressed head to toe in Fetish – her own clothing line.  The rapper-actress-designer has a new album coming out next year, she says it’s called “Flirt”.  Eve laughed when a reporter asked her about Clay Aiken coming out of the closet – she said she wasn’t surprised in the least! 

At the Miami stop on the tour, people were a bit nervous when Ne-Yo and Fat Joe, each accompanied by a giant security guard, had a powwow in a dark corner to discuss their longstanding feud.  But the rappers seem to have resolved their differences for now; they even hugged it out at the end.  Maybe they behaved because Randy Jackson and Ryan Seacrest were watching.

Saturday brought the tour to New Orleans, where Kim Kardashian fled after being kicked off of Dancing with the Stars – to be with her boyfriend, football player Reggie Bush.  The lovebirds sipped Hennessy mojitos and leaned over the balcony during Musiq Soulchild’s performance at Republic.  Reggie only had one drink – he had to play the next day.
