Toronto, September 4-12, 2008 – At the same time that Fashion Week was raging in New York City, OAN sent troopers up to Toronto, where exes Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were among the stars promoting movies at the 2008 Toronto Film Festival.  Festival days and nights were packed with star-studded premieres, press conferences and parties.  Several well-known actors, including Jennifer Hudson, Ricky Gervais and Keira Knightley headed to New York after Toronto.  Legendary fashion designer Valentino hit Toronto for a screening of Valentino: The Last Emperor, a documentary about his life, and then stopped in New York before traveling back to Europe.

One night during the film festival, we walked into the Sutton Place Hotel and took a double take when we saw Viggo Mortensen sitting at a piano, tinkling the ivories.  Mortensen chatted with us for a few moments; he said he’s not formally trained, but plays for relaxation.  “I figured I’d just play piano rather than go outside and smoke,” he explained.

Gossip around Toronto was that Mickey Rourke was kissing Pamela Anderson – but that we did not witness, thankfully.
