New York, July 10, 2008 – Antonio Banderas introduced his new fragrance, Blue Seduction for Women, at a fun event on Thursday afternoon that included a performance by cast members from Tony Award-winning musical In the Heights.  Banderas charmed everyone, talking and laughing with reporters with wife Melanie Griffith by his side.  The couple sat together and watched the performance, and Banderas even hopped onstage to join the dancing, thrilling the kids from House of the Roses, a Banderas fragrance beneficiary, who took part.

In the Heights creator Lin-Manuel Miranda made a surprise appearance at the launch event.  He told us that Banderas had come to see the show the day before – and that he wore Banderas’ fragrance Spirit when he heard the actor would be coming!  “I smell like Puss in Boots”, Miranda said with a devlish grin, referring to Banderas' hilarious Shrek 2 character.
