New York, May 14, 2008 – Kelly Ripa is the new spokesperson for the athletic apparel brand ryka, she announced at a cocktail party at the American Museum of Natural History in New York on Wednesday.  Ripa will launch a fitness line for Fall ’08, the Kelly Ripa Collection, in stores in October.  Footwear is slated for Spring ’09.  Prices were not released at the celebration.  The Live with Regis & Kelly host said a few words about the new partnership, and was her usual bubbly self, joking around and kissing husband Mark Consuelos in front of everyone.  Partygoers got a preview of Ripa’s ad campaign and upcoming collection, and female guests received a free pair of ryka shoes.
