Barbara Walters Buys Copies of Her Own Book at Signing as Gifts for Photojournalists |

New York, May 7, 2008 – Barbara Walters appeared at a midtown Manhattan bookstore on Wednesday to sign copies of her new memoir, Audition, and, as usual, photographers were brought in to shoot pictures for a short while before the author got down to signing copies for fans. When Walters sat down at the table, she asked reps if she could give the photographers books, pulled out her credit card and handed it to a Barnes & Noble staffer, who brought back ten copies, courtesy of The View host. Then she signed the books, and handed the stunned photographers signed copies to take home. |
