Los Angeles, March 20, 2008 – The Paley TV Festival moved to the ArcLight Theater this year in order to accommodate bigger crowds, yet the larger venue was no match for the legions of Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans, who came from around the world for the reunion. We heard tales of scalpers selling the highly sought after tickets on eBay for up to $1700 apiece. Seth Green spent quite a bit of time smiling for cameras while sandwiched between Sarah Michelle Gellar and Michelle Trachtenberg. “I’m used to being in the middle of two hot women”, Green quipped, his hand on Trachtenberg’s thigh. James Marsters, who played Spike on the show, refused to smile because, he said, he’d had his teeth bashed in on the set of Dragonball, the Chow Yun-Fat movie filming in Mexico. Marsters said he’d come directly from the airport to the Buffy reunion, and didn’t want to show us his pearly whites until he’d seen a dentist. |
