New York, March 19, 2008 – It wasn’t just the drooping dollar that had a slew of Brits checking in to the Sheraton New York on Wednesday.  Showtime premiered season 2 of its series The Tudors.  We know that King Henry VIII created the Church of England due to the fact that the Catholic Church inconveniently barred divorce, and he chopped off the head of his wife, Anne Boleyn, but did he have such piercing blue eyes as Jonathan Rhys Meyers, who portrays him in the show?  Natalie Dormer, who plays Boleyn, was at the screening, so hopefully her character won’t be beheaded quite yet.  What was Peter O’Toole doing there?  He plays Pope Paul III in one episode!  The hilarious Tracey Ullman made a cameo at the premiere.
