New York, February 1, 2008 – Everyone wondered how Joss Stone was able to walk the runway without falling at the Heart Truth Red Dress collection on Friday – her eyes were closed the entire time.  We caught up with the soulful Brit singer backstage at Bryant Park, and she told us that her eyes were open, but that she scrunches them up when she laughs. “That’s me laughing!  I didn’t have my eyes closed – I just have small eyes”, Stone said.   “I laughed the whole bloody way!  From the beginning to the end, I pissed myself laughing.  It was a fun time.”  Meanwhile, Stone has gone back to her natural hair color – the last time we spoke to her, her hair was blue.  “I just got bored.  You know, I did all the colors, I kind of ran out of colors”, Stone told us.

First Lady Laura Bush once again graced the fashion tents for the Heart Truth show, to raise awareness of women’s heart health, but she didn’t wear red this time!   Liza Minnelli belted a song on the runway, and famous ladies modeling red designer frocks included Sara Ramirez, Allison Janney, Heidi Klum, Molly Sims, Rita Moreno, Lisa Rinna and Ugly Betty’s Ana Ortiz.
