Las Vegas, January 17, 2008 – For those of us who don’t care much for gambling, the Vegas strip just introduced a whole new way to blow your money with a Barney’s New York among the glittery new shops at the Palazzo Las Vegas resort.  Angie Harmon was so anxious to get into Barney’s that the store’s Creative Director Simon Doonan gave her a pre-opening day tour, where she picked up the Lanvin dress she wore to the Palazzo opening party. 

Jason Lewis met up with Sex and the City co-star Willie Garson on the red carpet, and we spied Hilary Swank with her boyfriend John Campisi, statuesque Rebecca Romijn and husband Jerry O’Connell, Christina Ricci, Nicollette Sheridan, James Denton, Emeril Lagasse and Mario Batali at the star-studded grand opening.  Even native New Yorker Claire Danes flew out to Sin City for the bash.
