New York, January 22-23, 2008 – David Letterman couldn’t resist ruffling John Edwards’ notoriously perfect hair on his show on Tuesday, but, we figure, studio hair stylists had probably worked on it first.  But earlier that day, we spotted the former senator toning up for his Late Show appearance at a Sheraton Hotel gym in Manhattan, and while the sweaty presidential hopeful shot our photographer dirty looks from the treadmill, his hair remained in place. 

The next evening, we caught up with Hillary Clinton in New Jersey, but she wasn’t working out, she was campaigning.  Her hair looked okay.
