Los Angeles, December 12, 2007 – Striking WGA members celebrated “Diversity Day” on Wednesday, encouraging minority supporters to join the picket lines.  Among those who turned up to walk picket lines at Paramount Studios was Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes, and the show’s stars Katherine Heigl, Sara Ramirez and T. R. Knight.  Isaiah Washington, the African American actor fired from Grey’s after taunting Knight with anti-gay slurs, also turned up on the scene.  Awkward!  (Great idea for a plot twist, right?)  Everyone kept their cool, carrying signs and wearing wristbands that said “unity”.
