New York, November 16-18, 2007 – Val Kilmer appeared at the Big Apple Comic Book, Art and Toy show this weekend, but refused to be photographed.  “He’ll bolt”, a rep at the expo told photographers requesting a photo op with the Doors star on Friday.  OAN captured Kilmer signing autographs in the background of a photo of someone else at the fair, see image at left.

Heroes star Kristen Bell also inexplicably refused to be photographed at the show; the image at left is as she emerged from the Hotel Pennsylvania in Manhattan, where the show was held.

Cast mate Hayden Panettiere had no qualms about being at the comic book expo, smiling and even putting on her red coat at the request of photographers. 

Both Bell and Panettiere had long lines of fans waiting for autographs, but the crowd at Kilmer’s table was sparse while we were there. 

Celeste Holm, Soupy Sales and Larry Storch also appeared during the three-day event.
