New York, November 9, 2007 – Out magazine feted its annual “Out 100” issue -  saluting the 100 most influential people in gay culture – with a giant bash at Cipriani Wall Street on Friday.  And while we hesitate to use clichés, the best way to describe the party: fabulous!

Tim Gunn and Tori Spelling hosted.  Chaka Khan and Mya performed, and early in the evening, organizers slipped and told us that Kat DeLuna would do a “surprise” set.  And there were more surprises.  Annie Lennox showed up, unannounced – but sadly didn’t sing - and brought along her buddy Gina Gershon.  Gershon quipped that Lennox told her they were headed to a party where there would be a lot of men.  We didn’t expect Kelly Rowland, who told us, “I’m actually presenting Chaka Khan with her award. She’s such a beautiful woman.  I’m so excited."

We asked Tori Spelling, a noted animal-lover, how her beloved dogs have reacted to the presence of eight-month-old Liam, her son with Dean McDermott. "They have kind of a love/hate relationship.  The baby loves them, and they kind of, um, wish he was gone”, she said, laughing.   “He’s getting to the point where he grabs them a lot, so they tolerate him”, Tori added.

Several prominent fashion designers were on hand, including Thom Browne and Marc Jacobs, who mentioned that he may be opening an uptown store next year, now that he’s colonized Bleecker Street in the West Village.
