New York, November 7, 2007 – “It’s crazy, right?” Rumer Willis whispered to fellow celebrity spawn Zoe Kravitz as they were introduced to one another on the red carpet at the DKNY Delicious Night fragrance launch party. The back-to-brunette daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore seemed a bit intimidated by the media circus, but she relaxed in the VIP area, and took in Common’s performance along with a few hundred others gathered in Donna Karan’s vast downtown studio space. The Office star Rashida Jones talked about the havoc that the WGA strike is wreaking on her TV series. “It’s bad. I mean, production’s been suspended, and it’s just sad”, she told us. Heroes’ Ali Larter concurred. “We can only shoot ‘til Friday, and, I mean, it’s not just the writers. It’s everyone on our show from the PA’s to craft service, everything’s affected by it”, Larter said. All of the ladies – and Common, too – looked lovely decked out in DKNY at the party. The Delicious Night bottle is shaped like an apple, and bears the tagline “100% New York”. Karan explained the scent’s inspiration: “It’s night, it’s naughty. New York has a soul to it, and I think that’s what I like.” Marisa Tomei, Melissa George, Christina Ricci and Margarita Missoni also checked out the fragrance. |
