Los Angeles, October 17, 2007 – For years, we’ve heard practically every actress in Hollywood rave about – and wear - vertigo-inducing high-heeled Christian Louboutin shoes.  Saks Fifth Avenue noticed, too, and on Wednesday, the luxury retailer welcomed the Frenchman to Hollywood, where, coincidentally, they’ve just renovated their shoe department. 

Famous fans like Rachel Bilson, Hayden Panettiere, Molly Sims, Kristen Bell and Olivia Wilde greeted the master cobbler at an intimate party at the chic new S Bar.  Panettiere wore the trademark red-soled shoes to the party, and she claimed they were her first-ever pair of Louboutins.  Ashley Olsen arrived so late that she almost missed the party, and was overheard fretting about being underdressed in jeans (but she looked great.)  John Mayer had better sharpen up his Amex Black Card, because purported girlfriend Minka Kelly popped in to meet Louboutin.
