New York, October 5, 2007 – New Line Cinema, which brought us this summer’s hit musical Hairspray, celebrated its 40th anniversary with a benefit for The Film Society of Lincoln Center on Friday, with Nicole Kidman the center of attention.  Kidman’s husband, Keith Urban avoided the red carpet but joined her inside, along with fellow Aussie Rupert Murdoch and his wife, Wendi.  Tongues were wagging when another Tom Cruise ex, Rebecca De Mornay arrived, but no word on whether she and Kidman crossed paths during the evening.  Jennifer Hudson said that all of the attention surrounding the Sex and the City movie shoot is very different from working on Dreamgirls.  “I’m really enjoying myself”, she said.  And Hudson is still being bossed around by fashion insiders – this time by stylist Patricia Field. “She is too advanced for me to keep up with! I’m like, you can put that with that?”
