New York, October 7, 2007 - Nicole Kidman made a rare visit to New York this week for some promotional duties, including the New York Film Festival screening of Margot at the Wedding.  Kidman admitted that since her marriage to country music star Keith Urban, she’s become a Nashville girl, and misses that city when she travels.  “I miss my home. I live in Tennessee now, so I miss that – seeing the friends and people that we’ve sort of accumulated in Tennessee”, she said.   “I miss being able to just go out to our local restaurants and stuff, you know, in Nashville. There’s just something about that routine that’s very comforting”, the Oscar-winner added. 

While Kidman plays the estranged sister of Jennifer Jason Leigh in the film, she says she is extremely close to her real-life sister Antonia.  “My sister and I are like twins, we’re so close”, Kidman told reporters at the screening.   “I’m here in New York now, and she’s in Sydney, but we’ve spoken every day.”
