New York, October 3, 2007 – Cate Blanchett stepped out for a Cinema Society screening of Elizabeth: The Golden Age at the Tribeca Grand on Wednesday. Conveniently, Cate is in town to showcase her other new film, I’m Not There, in which she plays royalty of a different stripe, musical legend Bob Dylan. While Cate’s co-stars Clive Owen, Abbie Cornish and Rhys Ifans didn’t make it to the Elizabeth screening, Martha Stewart, Val Kilmer, Lauren Bacall, LL Cool J, Jewelers David and Sybil Yurman and newly minted eligible bachelor Salman Rushdie did. Even Vogue editor Anna Wintour turned up, right after weeks of European fashion shows. Former Sopranos star Michael Imperioli and his wife Victoria seemed much more relaxed than they appeared last month, when they made headlines when a pipe bomb exploded outside of a New York City theater they operate. |
