Los Angeles, September 17, 2007 – Will Smith acted as impromptu master of ceremonies at the premiere of the new Jamie Foxx and Jennifer Garner film The Kingdom, commandeering the red carpet, greeting friends, arranging photo ops and generally entertaining us with his antics. He met up with various acquaintances at the Mann Village Theater premiere; they’d link arms and pose for photos together, and then Will decided it made a good composition, so he’d bring the whole group back in the opposite direction to pose for cameras. Different configurations included wife Jada Pinkett Smith, Foxx, Jeremy Piven and Serena Williams. Jada wore shorts, and Smith knelt down and rubbed her legs, telling us, “She looks so hot”. He wasn’t the only clown; an empty-handed Jeremy Piven posed as if he were holding the Emmy award that he’d won the previous evening – accommodating anyone who missed the awards. |
