New York, September 23, 2007 – Andy Samberg was guest of honor Sunday night at Paper magazine’s party celebrating its “Unhollywood” issue.  The Saturday Night Live comic and Emmy award winner is on the mag’s cover this month, yet some folks at the Tribeca Grand Hotel had trouble identifying him: we overheard more than one partygoer refer to him as Adam Sandler.  Samberg ignored this.

Samberg claimed that wrapping his genitals in other types of packaging - a bag or a can, say - wouldn’t have worked for “D**k in a Box”, his award-winning music video duet with Justin Timberlake.  “It was Christmas!” he said.  “It had to be in a box wrapped up in a bow.”

We wondered how Taylor Hanson and his wife Natalie fit into this crowd, but we heard buzz around the room that the middle brother in the band Hanson will appear on 30 Rock.
