New York, August 22, 2007 – Barbra Streisand was
knocking them dead on European concert stages this summer, but she’s
also a housewife to hubby James Brolin. When asked if
he’d brought his wife with him to the New York premiere of his new
film The Hunting Party, Brolin hunted through his pockets and
came up empty-handed; he said he’d left her at home, “producing
and directing a house”. (Renovations, perhaps?) Terrence
Howard was dressed up, as always, even in August, in a natty
suit and a fedora. The lovely Diane Kruger couldn’t
make it to the premiere, but co-stars Richard Gere, Jesse
Eisenberg and Dylan Baker did. Donna
Karan breezed in, as did Tovah Feldshuh and
Montel Williams. The New York Observer sponsored
the evening, and publisher Jared Kushner acted as host.
