New York, April 10, 2007 – The crowd at the premiere of Perfect Stranger, the Bruce Willis/Halle Berry thriller, was as convoluted as the film’s plot. Pat Sajak, Victoria’s Secret model Adriana Lima, Ed Burns and Christy Turlington, Tim Robbins, country crooner Martina McBride, who will appear on American Idol next week, and, er, Idol season 2 alum Kimberley Locke. (Pat Sajak?) Not eclectic enough? How about Disturbia actor Aaron Yoo, who said he’s currently shooting a film called 21 with Kevin Spacey. “Kevin actually wrapped to come down here and start doing his Broadway show, which everyone should go see because it’s absolutely phenomenal”, Yoo told us, referring to the critically acclaimed A Moon for the Misbegotten. So where were we? Oh right – Perfect Stranger. Halle Berry explained the plot: “We’re all complicated perfect strangers. We’re all hiding secrets, telling lies, trying to uncover the secrets of others, operating under false pretenses and under altered identities. Uh, it’s pretty twisted.” Man of few words Bruce Willis nodded his shiny, bald, head in agreement. Giovanni Ribisi said that he plays a “sexy geek” in the film, and Daniella Von Graas plays Willis’ lesbian assistant. Unfortunately, she did not get to kiss Halle Berry. (Of course, we had to ask.) |
