Los Angeles, April 1, 2007 – The slime flew in unprecedented quantities at this year’s Kids’ Choice Awards. While the slime is always a highly anticipated feature of the annual Nickelodeon fest, this time, Steve Carell, Vince Vaughn, Jackie Chan, Chris Tucker, Tobey Maguire and Mandy Moore joined host Justin Timberlake in being coated with green goop.

And while the fans have always participated in the Kids’ Choice Awards - they vote online for the winners – in 2007, the audience got more involved than ever before. The slime-covered stars onstage turned the slime hoses on the audience, coating those seated in front. Then, two-time burping contest winner Timberlake lost his crown – to the kids in the audience! (It's been a tough year for Timberlake - first he lost Cameron Diaz, and now he's lost his burping title.)

Nicole Kidman’s two kids with Tom Cruise, Connor and Isabella, were in the house, but avoided the press. Bindi Irwin traded in her usual khakis for a ladylike dress, but mom Teri stayed in uniform. Everyone was buzzing when Chris Evans and Jessica Alba walked the red carpet together, but the actors aren't an item; they were promoting their upcoming Fantastic Four flick – in which they play super-powered brother and sister.
