New York, April 16, 2007 – The Alzheimer’s Association launched
a new ad campaign with famous folks like Victor Garber,
Peter Gallagher, Dick Van Dyke and Kate
Burton helping to raise awareness of the disease. So we headed
to the launch party at Top of the Rock in New York City on Monday, where
actor David Hyde Pierce was honored for his work with
the association. Dustin Hoffman spoke at the event, and
when asked how he stays healthy, the 69-year-old revealed his secret for
aging well: “It’s always been sex.” John Mahoney,
who played Pierce’s father Martin Crane on the sitcom Frasier,
claimed that David was like the son he’d never had, “even
though he won all the Emmys”.
