Los Angeles, March 22, 2007 – Tom Cruise is with a different woman, he’s added a new daughter and has jumped on at least one sofa since 2003, but it seems that he’s stuck with mentoring. Back in ’03, Mr. Cruise had then-girlfriend Penelope Cruz on his arm when the National Mentoring Partnership honored him in New York. This year, Mentor LA saluted the movie star at the first-ever LA's Promise gala at Twentieth Century Fox Studios in Hollywood. Wife Katie Holmes was by his side this time, and she seemed more animated than we’ve seen her in previous outings, even daring to step away from Tom and her handlers and pose for photos all by herself! Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher, Orlando Bloom, Jerry Maguire writer Cameron Crowe and MI3 writer JJ Abrams were among the guests.
