Samuel L. Jackson Adds to Snake Repertoire With Black Snake Moan
Samuel L. Jackson smirks
Christina Ricci & Adam Goldberg

New York, February 19, 2007 – Snakes on a Plane star Samuel L. Jackson rolled his eyes in exasperation at the Black Snake Moan premiere when we asked if he'll do one more snake movie and make it a trilogy.

Jackson had to learn to play some songs for his Black Snake Moan role as a bluesman. “I’ll be at the Grammys next year collecting”, he joked at the Chelsea West Cinema premiere. Jackson has stated that he is leery of projects that are simply vanity vehicles for rap artists, but he praised costar Justin Timberlake’s work on Black Snake Moan. Anyway, “Justin’s not really a rapper”, he added.

While we waited in vain for Christina Ricci to talk with us, her boyfriend, actor Adam Goldberg, kept reporters entertained. What are the couple’s favorite pursuits when visiting New York? “We go wilding”, Goldberg deadpanned. “I’m trying to bring that back. I know that was very big here in the ‘80s. And, you know, it’s sort of odd, not what you might expect from a couple as a pastime, but, you know, we find that it really reinvigorates the relationship.”
