New York, February 21, 2007 – After laughing out loud all through the Tribeca Cinema Series screening of Reno 911: Miami, the movie’s entire cast, in full costume, marched down the aisle to the front of the theater for a short chat. Thomas Lennon acknowledged that his character Lt. Jim Dangle’s trademark short-shorts were not the most practical attire for February in New York City. “It was a little brisk. I wish I had brought some of my Spanx pantyhose, but I did not", he said.

Lennon told us a bit about how what he called this "document of our lives" was made: “We don’t edit the film. What we do is, they shoot us 24 hours a day, seven days a week; they hand the footage over to Danny DeVito. He is drunk on Limoncello. He cobbles it together with his little penguin flippers into this web of lies. If you believe what you see in the picture, you would think that we are a grossly incompetent group of horny retards. And we’re not that incompetent.”

When a gentleman in the audience asked Niecy Nash if her character Raineesha’s enormous derriere is real, she invited him to come up for a feel. (We asked the guy later – it’s a prosthesis.)

We all wandered next door to the Tribeca Cinemas Gallery space for an after party where the Reno 911 cast members dangerously waved guns in our faces. Paul Rudd, who hilariously plays a Miami drug lord in the film, was not in costume, but he introduced his beaming mother around the party.
