New York, February 21, 2007 – When celebrity chef Rachael Ray met her wax likeness at Madame Tussaud’s for the first time on Wednesday, she was overwhelmed, not so much with the tribute, but by the figurine’s flatteringly large breasts. “I ought to bring my husband here”, said the talk-show maven; “Hey honey, look at this rack!” We don’t know what Rachael was wearing to the unveiling, but her wax version is enclosed not in an apron, but in a Diane von Furstenberg dress and Faryl Robin shoes. (Yes, we do think it’s weird that we’re reporting on what a statue is wearing.) The wax Rachael Ray is much quieter than the live one, but can it cook a meal in 30 minutes? |
