Los Angeles, January 3, 2007 – It seems that Alpha Dog is not a date movie. While we cannot confirm the swirling rumors about their respective romantic entanglements, both Justin Timberlake and Sharon Stone showed up dateless at the ArcLight for the Alpha Dog premiere on Wednesday. There is speculation (again) that Timberlake has split with longtime girlfriend Cameron Diaz, and Stone has recently been inseparable from Bobby costar Christian Slater – until now. Bruce Willis opted to skip the premiere, but some folks made the evening a family outing - Dominique Swain brought along her father, and director Nick Cassavetes was with his mother, actress Gena Rowlands.

Alpha Dog is based on a true story involving kidnapping and murder, and one of the real-life protagonists has posed a legal challenge to keep the film out of theaters, which is terrific PR.
