Los Angeles, November 30, 2006 – Arby’s delivered the beef at their first ever Action Sports Awards on Thursday. Pamela Anderson was a last minute addition to the guest list, and no one expected the newly-separated bombshell to actually walk the red carpet and interact with voracious reporters at such a painful juncture in her life. But surprisingly, Pam did, avoiding questions about her split from husband Kid Rock by cleverly invoking the Bimbo clause: half naked in hot pants on a chilly evening, Pam shivered after the first mild question from each reporter, claimed to be too cold, and moved on.

Britney’s panties also turned up unexpectedly at the awards, on Jamie Kennedy’s head. Having the lacy red undergarment draped over his face rendered Kennedy speechless; so he carried a sign with the slogan, “I found Britney’s panties!”

Dancing With the Stars’ Willa Ford told Us Weekly at the Action Sports gala that her boyfriend, hockey pro Mike Modano, proposed marriage, and presented her with a ring that he’d had redesigned three times. Take a look at the rock, in the photo at left.

Paris Hilton, Wilmer Valderrama, Steve O, the lovely Nadine Velazquez and Kelly Carlson were in the house. The miniature Arby’s sandwiches made classy hors d’oeuvres.
