Anaheim, CA, December 7, 2006 – Justin Timberlake was the surprise guest star at the KIIS-FM Jingle Ball concert on Thursday, and he entered with style, slipping onstage during Nelly Furtado’s performance and singing along. (We’d suspected that Timberlake would be the surprise, since he turned up that morning in L.A. for the Grammy award announcements.)

Timbaland, the producer of Timberlake’s successful, punctuation-challenged album, FutureSex/LoveSounds, was also on the roster, along with young acts JoJo, Vanessa Hudgens and rapper Bow Wow.

Non-solo acts included Diddy’s reality show creation, girl group Danity Kane. One short-skirted Danity member quipped, “See, white girls can wear panties!”

We weren’t familiar with Mexican pop group RBD, but lots of folks certainly are. The six-member band got by far the biggest response from the crowd, and their high energy act brought the show to a rousing close.
