Los Angeles, December 5, 2006 – People were calling Home of the Brave the “Jackson movie”, because it stars Samuel L. Jackson and Curtis Jackson – better known as rapper 50 Cent. Having been shot at in real life, Mr. Cent was a natural for this movie about soldiers returning from war in Iraq. Fitty had his “serious actor” face on at the movie’s premiere on Tuesday in Beverly Hills, but he’s not as intimidating as you’d expect, and we joked around with him until he cracked a smile. (But Samuel L. Jackson is intimidating!) Chad Michael Murray furiously tried to rub off the red lipstick after his child bride Kenzie Dalton kissed him. We were disappointed that Jessica Biel didn’t bring her new love, baseball player Derek Jeter, to the screening.
