New York, November 15, 2006 – We didn’t realize that the original Ray-Ban Wayfarer had gone away, but apparently it had, since the company celebrated its return with a bash at Irving Plaza in New York City. Yes, that is a concert venue, fitting since the party featured an exhibit of photographs of rockers wearing the sunglasses, shot by legendary rock photographer Mick Rock.

Guests including Molly Sims and Jimmy Fallon didn’t make it into the photo exhibition, but they did try on Wayfarers at the party. The iconic shades magically transformed Mischa Barton into a tough rocker chick that spurns manicures and wart remover.
