New York, October 17, 2006 – Hennessy threw a rocking party at Capitale on Tuesday, and boy, are we hung over! The first wave of folks, including Ewan McGregor, Carmen Electra and Kirsten Dunst, got there in time to catch The Strokes’ performance. Those who hung around – that would be us – and the late-arriving contingent didn’t have to skimp, though – around midnight, Kanye West took the stage, with a little help from surprise guest Pharrell Williams.

The evening’s torrential rain made folks that flew over from Ireland and England especially for the “Hennessy Artistry” event, which also featured Brit sensation Goldfrapp, feel quite at home.

Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger publicly displayed their couplehood – kissing on the dance floor - but not in photos! Vanessa Minnillo left her other half, Nick Lachey, at home. Constantine Maroulis came directly from his gig on Broadway. Rosie Perez, Gavin DeGraw, Dylan McDermott and Jane Krakowki were all in the crowd.
