New York, October 4, 2006 – Jessica Simpson should have stopped at one of New York’s many nail salons on Wednesday, because her manicure was a mess as she ran around the city, promoting her new movie Employee of the Month. Hopefully, MTV made her up before her afternoon TRL appearance.

Jess skipped the evening screening of the film, but turned up for the after party at hot spot Tenjune, where she kept her hands firmly hidden in her pockets while in front of our camera! (Actually, Jess’ nails were in much better shape by evening.)

Costars Dane Cook, Andy Dick and Dax Shepard took a break from their promotional duties and relaxed at the party.
