Los Angeles, September 19, 2006 – Was Jessica Simpson’s alleged romance with Dane Cook another publicity stunt, ala John Mayer? The Employee of the Month co-stars showed no inkling of couplehood at Monday’s premiere. Cook brought along an unidentified woman. (Sister? Date? Publicist?) Ashlee Simpson wasn’t there – perhaps she didn’t want to upstage her big sister Jessica, who finally wore a dress that covered her rear end, and a flip hairdo that reminded us of Jane Jetson. Quite an odd assortment of folks turned up at Mann’s Chinese Theatre for the premiere: rocker Scott Weiland, Janice Dickinson, Brett Ratner and Tom Arnold. Lots of people brought their kids; probably they wanted to meet J. Simp.
