New York, September 18, 2006 – Producer Trudie Styler’s people sent the script for A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints to hunky Channing Tatum. “I read it in my bathtub – like, that’s not creepy; that’s where I read all my scripts – and I cried my eyes out”, he said at the film’s premiere on Monday. We chatted a bit more with the tall, green-eyed star of She’s The Man and Step Up, but steered the conversation back to the important stuff. Why the bathtub? “It’s soothing, you know? There’s no TV, no people talking, no phones ringing. You can just focus; sit there and just read”, he explained. Dianne Wiest simply read the script, fully clothed, and loved it, and was excited to work with Rosario Dawson and Robert Downey; Jr. Shia LaBeouf is only 20 but has been acting for years, and has the attitude to go with it; he snapped at a reporter, “That’s a stupid question!” We didn’t hear the question, but dude needs to lighten up. Hey, we hear the bathtub is soothing. |
