Los Angeles, July 11, 2006 – We've been confused about gorgeous Rosario Dawson professing to be a comic book geek – and actually having written one - but we forgot about her upcoming turn in Clerks 2. With the success of Sin City, and its sequel due next year, appealing to the influential nerd crowd makes sense. (Hey Rosario, why not write your own video game?)

Dawson’s decidedly non-nerdy boyfriend, Jason Lewis, joined her at the Clerks 2 premiere in Hollywood. The film’s director Kevin Smith appeared in an episode of the TV show Veronica Mars, which explained the presence of that show’s star, Kristen Bell, at the screening. Jason Lee returned to Smith's womb for a role in Clerks 2, but our hopes for a Ben Affleck/Kevin Smith reunion went unfulfilled.
