Los Angeles, April 28 – Along with being held for the first time ever in Hollywood, the big newsmakers at the Daytime Emmy Awards were lesbians. Ellen DeGeneres took two awards, as the most popular host on the best daytime talk-show on TV. That wasn’t so surprising, considering she’s won in both categories previously. DeGeneres also publicly thanked her girlfriend, actress Portia de Rossi, during her acceptance speech.
