New York, May 16, 2006 – We’ve often said that magazine parties are duds, but Entertainment Weekly has obviously been pumping PR iron. The mag flexed its muscles and wrapped a bunch of stars in its brawny arms at its upfront party at The Manor, in the West Village. The EW party became an unofficial stop for many of those at the day’s ABC upfront and its attendant parties and after parties. Desperate Housewives’ Felicity Huffman, Brenda Strong and Doug Savant popped in. Eva Longoria discussed the competition – she loves Grey’s Anatomy, but hasn’t been watching American Idol this season. Another show she won’t miss is game 5 of the NBA playoffs – she’s off on Wednesday to cheer on boyfriend Tony Parker, of the San Antonio Spurs. Ellen Pompeo, Kristin Cavallari, Matthew Perry, Kelly Carlson, Kelly Monaco and Zoe Saldana all checked out the bash. Alyssa Milano must have thought it was the Maxim party, in her midriff-baring top. Lindsay Lohan rushed in, no doubt on her way from and to several other parties. |
