Los Angeles, April 1, 2006 – Cameron Diaz coyly tried to keep her left hand hidden at the Kids Choice Awards on Saturday, making us wonder about the significance of the glittering diamond band on her wedding ring ringer. But if Cameron and Justin Timberlake aren’t engaged and/or married yet, we’re sure they sealed the deal after Justin’s burping triumph at the KCAs. What woman can resist superstar belching? It was a tough match, but Timberlake defeated his opponent Hugh Jackman, who, we’re sure, must now be rethinking his burping career. This year’s slime victim was Robin Williams, who turned the green stuff on host Jack Black. We wanted to slime best TV actress Jamie Lynn Spears, because she did not enlighten us as to the current condition of her sister Britney’s womb. Green Day took two prizes, and frontman Billie Joe Armstrong brought along his wife, Adrienne, and two sons. The Nickelodeon fest was a big family day, with everyone from Lance Armstrong to Will Smith to Robin Williams surrounded by a brood. The young girl on the orange carpet with Bruce Willis wasn’t one of his daughters; it was pop star Avril Lavigne. The two must have been reviewing their (voice) roles in the animated feature Over the Hedge. When asked to do a tango backstage in the press room, Dancing With The Stars’ Master P protested that everyone knows he’s a bad dancer. The journalists pressured him, so he pulled a giggling photographer onto the stage for a quick dance. Lindsay Lohan trounced Hilary Duff for favorite actress, and the pint-sized voting audience clicked and text-messaged Will Smith to a best actor victory. |
