New York, March 31, 2006 – The Big Apple Comic Book, Art, Toy and Sci-Fi Expo may be a mouthful to say, but it was worth the effort for film buffs, who got to meet legendary Night of the Living Dead director George A. Romero. Romero declined to take a bite of the zombie in the photo at left, saying “I don’t know where it’s been”. He would, however, take a bite out of Margot Kidder, of Superman fame, who was also on hand. The perky redhead Cassandra Peterson was unrecognizable as the creator of Elvira, Mistress of the Dark. You couldn’t miss Peter Mayhew, the 7’3” Englishman who played Star Wars’ Chewbacca.
