New York, March 8, 2006 – We don’t know why rappers love sneakers so much. Really, if they’re being driven around in Rolls Royces, they could wear Jimmy Choos. But what do we know about style? The newest faces of Reebok, or Rbk entertainment, Nelly, Daddy Yankee, Mike Jones and Lupe Fiasco, celebrated their new shoes with a party at Manhattan club Marquee. And this was certainly the day for exciting red carpets; partygoers started squeezing into the press area to get a look at the famous, and someone threatened an Associated Press photographer. Later, after another incident with an overzealous fan, most photographers left the party en masse. By that point, however, Ashanti, JC Chasez, Miri Ben-Ari and Tommy Hilfiger had already posed for pictures.
