New York, Jan. 21-27, 2006 – We stopped at the David Letterman studios on Wednesday where O.C. queen Mischa Barton was a guest. That day’s musical guest was heavy metal band Wicked Wisdom, and the butch looking lead singer was none other than Jada Pinkett Smith! Well, her husband Will Smith is so cuddly, someone has to be tough in the family. Maggie Gyllenhaal doesn’t strike us as sporty, but for some reason she has an ad campaign for Reebok, which she celebrated at the impossible-to-get-into West Village hotspot, The Spotted Pig. Jon Bon Jovi is more than just a sports fan, he’s an owner of Arena Football League team Philadelphia Soul. Arena football is played indoors, and, believe it or not, the league is twenty years old, and Bon Jovi celebrated by ringing the closing bell at the NASDAQ stock market. Natalie Portman didn’t seem the least bit phased when she showed up at Marquee and inadvertently crashed the one-year anniversary party for Pharrell Williams’ Soho boutique, A Bathing Ape. Overly-tattooed MTV reality star Travis Barker and wife Shanna Moakler, Eric Balfour and rappers’ favorite Jacob the Jeweler all monkeyed around.
