New York, December 4, 2005 – We’ve been so mesmerized by Angelina Jolie’s melee and King Kong’s eating New York that we haven’t had a chance to tell you about singleton Renee Zellweger’s return to the social swim. Yes, the Brigitte Jones’s Diary star was out in public for the first time since splitting with her husband of a few months, Kenny Chesney. We don’t know if Renee found any of the eligible men attractive at the Museum of the Moving Image Tribute to Ron Howard, but the lack of cowboy hats among the guests was probably a good thing. Howard directed Cinderella Man, the film that Zellweger spent her honeymoon promoting, along with phone-tossing Russell Crowe. Good times!
